Khatir Afridi ( misri khan) was a well-known Pashto poet. Born in 1929 in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Landi Kotal. This area is located on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

His real name was Misri Khan. Afridi's father died a few days after his birth and he was raised by his uncle and grandfather .
Lived in poverty and never went to school. And at an early age he took a job as a gardener in the Khyber Rifle Camp.
But in spite of this khatir afridi (misri khan ) as much politeness and conscious values are found in his poetry
